Happy Holidays from all of us at Memento
We started Memento to make gifting cash a more memorable experience. Too often it’s what people want or even need but it can be socially awkward or inconvenient to give money for special events.
Well, little did we know that less than one year after starting Memento the world would be flipped upside down and we would launch our new company, in April 2020, during a pandemic. But you, our number one fans, did not disappoint. We have been incredibly humbled by our growth and even more impressed by you, our users, who used our app for amazing causes:
29.2% of Mementos were “thinking of you” messages to help brighten a friend’s day during these hard times
27.1% of Mementos were sent for big celebrations such as graduations and weddings that were reduced in size or held virtually this year
6.3% of Mementos were used for charity donations, including our My Block, My Hood, My City fundraiser
From birthday dances to kids saying the darnedest things, there is no wrong way to create a Memento. Oh, and if you are looking for a last-minute holiday gift, we promise your Memento will be delivered on time and your family won’t return it.
